The List

Welcome to the first List. It’s a collection of things I’ve been looking at , thinking about, and sometimes even adding to basket.

In short, here is a list of some things I like, that you might too. Don’t you love something that does what it says on the tin?

From left to right:

This cotton one shouldered top feels elegant but not too fussy. £59, Arket

I’ve been looking at these ‘ugly’ sandals for over 12 months. I think it’s finally time to invest. £100, Arizona Love at Matches

I bought some of these linen cushion covers last week and I can not get over how expensive they look! Available in beige and grey also. £8.99, H&M

And speaking of cushion covers. This embroidered one does a great job of brightening up a neutral space, without being too in your face. £39.99, Zara

I have an ongoing love affair with vintage-looking Levi’s. Key word: ‘looking’. The modern iterations like my beloved Levis Wedgie Icon High Rise have all the charm of the originals, but are way more flattering. £99, Revolve

One for the birthday list. This Rhode dress is all the things a summer dress should be to my mind. Cotton, a flattering but neutral shade, and so versatile it can be worn on beaches, in restaurants and even in the garden at home. £318, Rhode at Matches

And you can hardly talk summer dresses without including the obligatory wafty, white, beach style (in my humble opinion). This Free People open back dress has me dreaming of days on a Greek Island with my girl gang and an Aperol Spritz (or ten). £98, Free People

This cotton boilersuit from cult brand LF Markey is tailored enough to be flattering but looks comfortable too. I’ll buy one and report back… £180, LF Markey

Linen makes the ultimate summer T-shirt for me. This style comes in a few neutral colours but keeps selling out (and coming back). Quick, add to basket. £12.99, H&M

Disclaimer: I haven’t yet been brave enough to try the off-white trouser trend on for size. I’m too messy. But if I was, it would be these mens-inspired ones all the way. £69, COS

A khaki linen shirt is a wardrobe essential for me. Mostly worn open as an overshirt or jacket in warmer months, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without one. This one is on it’s way to me as we speak…. £19.99, H&M

I always like prints to mean something. Either a memory of a special time, something that means something to you, or for a good cause. This piece by Venetia Barry for Motherhood Prints is the perfect ode to motherhood, and all profits go to NHS Charities Together. £80, on Motherhood Prints, By Nina
